“Login” button takes you to the page where you enter your Password to see your details and bid on properties – NOTE – to Log in you must be a registered user of the site.

“See All Properties” – takes you to a page where you can look at the properties on the site– any one can use this facility but you cannot bid on any properties unless you login (see above)

“Housing Options” – takes you to a page with details on other ways of finding housing and meeting housing need.

“This week’s advert and results” – takes you to a page where adverts for properties are stored.

“Languages” – takes you to a page where you can change the language the key information on the site is displayed in

“Contact Us” – takes you to a page where you can get details of how to contact us.

ACCESSIBILITY AND DISPLAY OPTIONS

The links at the top of the page let you change the size and colour layout of the site to suit your needs and move around the site quickly via the sitemap if this suits you.

The Accessibility link gives you more information about features on the site to help visually impaired users use the site.

SHELTERED AND SUPPORTED HOUSING REGISTER SUSPENDED

 

The Sheltered and supported Housing Register is temporarily suspended for an initial 6 months from the 1st August 2010.

 

We currently have a large number of customers (127) awaiting rehousing who have already been assessed and registered. Some of these customers have been waiting for rehousing for several years. We are planning to achieve as many rehousings as possible in order to reduce the register and subsequently reduce the waiting time. 

 

If you require rehousing to sheltered or supported housing we advise you to contact the Local Authority Housing Department.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Service

Selections automated telephone service has instructions in 11 languages. These are: English, Sylheti, Cantonese, French, Somali, Turkish, Arabic, Punjabi, Urdu, Vietnamese and Portuguese.

Mutual Exchange

If you would like to swap your home with another housing association or local authority resident you can use House Exchange, Peabody’s new free service for home seekers who are looking to swap their home.
If you want to use House Exchange you should visit www.houseexchange.org.uk choose Peabody as your Landlord and follow the instructions to register.  Please note that this service is free of charge and for the use of current Peabody residents.

You may also be using the Home Swapper service (www.homeswapper.co.uk ) to search for a mutual exchange partner and you can continue to use this as well as the House Exchange service.  Please note that while House Exchange is a free service, you will need to pay to use Home Swapper.

UpMyStreet

Selections has UpMyStreet built in. That means you can find out about neighbourhoods easily, including information about local shops, schools and transport links.
